Yes i have a large no. of blogs
and also tried googlepages.

I think you should try Weebly - Create a free website and a free blog
Its simple,fast etc.

Blogger is also a good free blog hosting website. I have my own blog, so I don't use Google Pages.

Blogger don't allow us to create pages for our blog. So if we need pages then you should use googlepages.

I advise you to use Wordpress because it has features of both blogger and googlepages

Wordpress is the best for blogging in my opinion - but on your own domain and hosting.

i created a number of blogger blogs since they are easier to creat and i think that you can get better rankings with them . wordpress is better than blogger , as andrej says , but only when it's on your host , because you wont be able to insert any javascript , tracking scripts or adsense ads . You will also be limited on the themes .

Yes, I had a blog an year or two ago. It was a personal one.
Now im thinking of creating a blog again... professional as well as personal.

Google pages :

No, never felt the need of using it.
