Is there anyone, or any place to receive either a discounted license, or free one? I'm willing to pay 30 dollars for it, but thats all. And no nulled boards, or ones you get from warez websites.

But mate's how the owner/admin of vBulletin tracks you?

i don't think they are going to tell you. They track all boards.

I dont think its legally possible to have a vB for free or 30$.But you can have other boards for free like SMF,Phpbb,Mybb,PunBB and etc.If you want to compare the boards,you can go to ForumMatrix - Compare Them All .If you take my opinion,go for SMF.It is highly customizable and you can find some sleek professional themes.I like it and if you have any problem,you can always ask for some help!

Not all of people who use vBulletin buy a license ... but if vBulletin creators find you ... you'll go 2 jail

No..You don't go to jail, They don't do anything. Just send you a email saying your are not using a licensed VB.

If you use Nulled VB the people that Null the forum, take out some of the stuff that helps VB track you, they still can, but it is harder for them.

But please do not say, If you use nulled VB you go to jail. It's a load of bullshit.

Yep. You won't go to jail for using pirated/nulled vBulletin.
But it's not good using something pirated, either.

As Griffin said, they'll just mail you to take your forum down. And if you don't do it yourself, your host may suspend your account. (of course, thats not the case if you are on an offshore webhost)

Most hosts don't really care, even if it isn't offshore, i have had alot of Emails from IPB saying to take my forum down, they don't even contact your hosting about it.
