GeekPoint is a Webmaster Forum.

A forum (in general) is a place where people from different parts of the world come
together to have discussions on any topic of their choice.

Here are some terms which every forum member must be familiar with :

Forum : A 'category', for example : Web-Development, Graphics-Designing.

Sub-Forum : A 'category' inside another 'category'.
example : 'Internet Marketing' is a category inside another category called 'Business'.

Thread : An individual separate page where members discuss a particular topic.
example : THIS is a topic which you created.

Post : A reply to a topic made by some forum member.
example : this is my reply to your topic.
