Best virus protection to use

The best one I have found for myself is a combination of HijackThis(free) and AntiVirPE, no virus can get past them when they work together.......While others use only database based protection, this use database+activity based protection......so even custom viruses, which big companys dont know of yet can be stopped by this two. However there is a problem, For the first month of installing, you will get loads of annoying popups asking you to mark safe softwares and processes on your pc......once thats done, you will have the most secured pc in the world.


STAY AWAY FROM: Norton, and Spyware Doctor. Remember the most known softwares are the most targeted ones by viruses too.

Use AVG Free edition. It use low memory , fast on full system scan, daily update, e-mail scanner. And the most important it is free. So use it for lifetime.

Don't use NORTON. Use Avast - It is free. Dont slow down your computer. It definetly the best free one. CNET (download.com) gave it there highest rating possable.
AVG is ok but avast is much better

My answer will be One and only avast.Avast antivirus is free and have all te features of paid antiviruses.They only require a free registration and you are done.Avast doesn't also take a lot of memory..I strongly recommand it to every one.Just try it once and you will love it.

I will personally recommend you to go with either Avira Antivir home edition or AVG free edition. They both are very light weight, provides utmost security and are free.
If you are using windows operating system, you should download Microsoft defender and other security tools and updates from microsoft's website. they are highly recommended for your computer if you are using windows os.
Don't ever use NORTON and MCFEE as according to me they are viruses in itself. They slows down your system and also causes other serious problems.
So now it on you which antivirus you will be going for.

Norton 2007 is the best, Kaspersky work well, but if you hacked by Rontokubu.Win32 you will see whos the best !!!!!!!!
