And all others have atleast 50 Backlinks, from Different Sites.

Not Necessarily Armaan. Forums don't tend to build much PR.

But it was still way below what i had earlier expected / planned to do.

Btw, I am not concentrating on increasing the PR.
The main aim atm is building a big userbase and making the forum highly active.

If you have good pagerank then your site will get more chances to get SE ranking.
If you have PR1 then google crawls your site in some day. But if you have good PR then your google will crawl it daily.
And many people still think that good PR is symbol of good site.
