Great.

Now you need to get a good 'webhost'.
The webhost will give you a set of "nameservers".

You'll have to point your domain to those nameservers (from your domain's control panel).

Alright, I did that. A few hours ago, I think. Actually, it was with name.com. They had 4 nameservers there. I deleted their 4, and put in the two nameservers of my host. Is that right?

Right. you did everything correct.

Now you have to wait a while for the domain to fully function,
as it takes time for Nameservers to propagate all over world, fully.

So about... maybe a day or two? Right? And then I got to my hosting, go to addon domains, fill out everything properly, and it will add and everything will be fine, right?
It says I can't do anything with their DNS stuff now or something because I don't use their nameservers... but I'm guessing my host will still let me, right?

Yep. cPanel -> Addon Domains -> [Add your domain there]

Though you *may* have to wait some time before the webhost detects that you've changed the nameservers of the domain.

Yeah, I thought so. I was just reading something, and they said it can take up to 48 hours... ah, well. Thanks. Reps added.

Thanks, swastik2020.
But hey, Shadab. I got it done instantly, it turns out there was a problem with the nameservers. It was done in real time when it was fixed, no waiting was involved.
