vBSEO or Not ?

I am planning to buy vBSEO for this Forum.

For all those who don't know what vBSEO is:

vBSEO stands for vBulletin Search Engine Optimization,
its an addon/plugin for vBulletin forums.

No, I don't see that as necessary right now, rather, links in to geekpoint will be most useful at this time.

because 90% of the work which vbseo does our current seo optimizer can do
so no need of it
its waste of money
MORE OVER WHAT THE HECK ARE WE GETTING in having the topic name in url and many links in search engine unless we have cpm ads which we dont want

Zoints doesn't even do 40% of vBSEO's work.

You can't get category names to show up as real categories, ie as folders.
You can't get category, forum and sub-forum names in thread URLs.
You can't get rid of redundant content that shows up upto 3 times with and without zoints.
Zoint's doesn't help us in google adsense section targeting.
Zoint's doesn't allow manual rewriting conditions/rules or even a wide variety of predefined rewrites.
The native vB archive sux. Even though archive pages have the best Code-to-Content ratio, the vB arranges the topics in an awkward manner. So, a SE would see the oldest topic on the first page of thread listing, whereas the latest topic would be buried to the last page.

I would Never depend on ads as the primary source of revenue; whether CPC or CPM. Traffic is the key. Get the visitors, reduce the bounce rate, increase the conversion rate to members. Then comes the success.
So, i don't mind (or say.. care) getting even a measly 20-40$ per month for the first couple of months from adsense in geekpoint.

For now, No. Invite more Webmasters to this Forum. After which we'll be needing that Plugin. Because right now as Max said its a waste of money. As there aren't much posts to deal with at the moment that'll be needing SEO optimisation to that level. Though if you are getting it at a Discount then thats another Case. Then you may buy it, as you may not get it cheap later on.

Yes... and its a discount of over $40 USD.

And moreover I would get full 12 months of support, exactly the same if i would have bought a fresh license. I also have verified the legality of the license of the seller with the vBSEO Staff and they say his license is legal.
