I installed the vB Drafts mod for my forum and I think that though small, it is quite a useful mod to have in your forum. Let's consider a situation- I am writing an article, then the power suddenly goes off and the system is turned of( It usually happens here ), I will be quite off about that. So, I wont want to write it again. Thus you miss a good post. ( This was just an instance taking my example. It should be treated as global). Here's where this MOD can help a lot. Users can save their posts and there is an autosave feature too after X minutes. I think it could help GeekPoint.

Its starting of summer here and rain and storm are normal here these days. I am getting lot of power problem..
but can it decrease forum speed?

But I am sorry to say that it would require a better hosting than current one.

Yes. Anything AJAX takes a lot of server resources. (vBShout already does)
(think of how many SQL queries it would add every x minutes)

I'll download the mod and test it locally first,
to see how many extra queries it would add.

If it doesn't add to the load much, we'll implement it here right away;
otherwise, we would have to wait for a better hosting.
