Class Upload Failure... - 10-07-2007

Hello,

The users on my forums are complaining about not being able to user thier own avatars due to an error...i just got this

Quote:
Warning: tempnam() [function.tempnam]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File() is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/nick/:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /includes/class_upload.php on line 297

This line says it all.
You need to get that restriction removed by asking your webhost.

Thanx,
Shadab.

Then most probably you need something like the vBPlaza mod to do that.
[like what we have here].

Thats because i think there is no setting to bolden a username on an individual basis. Although it can be achieved on a usergroup basis easily with Usergroup's settings.

Thanx,
Shadab.

Go to your :

AdminCP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager

Click the button "Go" for the usergroup you want to edit the username style.
Now, you need to fill the "Username HTML Markup" fields (it's 4th from top)

In the first textbox, write this :
HTML Code:
<span style="font-weight:bold">
And in the second textbox, write this :
HTML Code:
</span>
Save your changes.

Thanx,
Shadab.

Welcome mate !

But for that tag/name/title, theres a long way to go for me.
I am still a novice as far as understanding the underlying core php files is concerned.

Thanx,
Shadab.
