vBSEO Problem - 11-24-2007

With vBSEO, my forums are somewhat downgraded in quality...they have become slow and annoying to use...i can't use the quickreply box and even time i try to post it asks me if i want to download the newreply.php file

What the hell is with this?? Anyone help on this?

I should note that the second i turn the plug-in off [vBSEO] everything is fine....i think i'll have a go at installing it again

Regards,
Nick

Re: vBSEO - 11-24-2007

Which version of vBSEO and vBulletin are you running ?
And is vBSEO encrypted (ioncube / zend) or not ?

Some more info needed :
PHP Safe Mode is ON or OFF ?
Go to your AdminCP, and tell what's written for 'PHP Memory Limit' ?

Thanx,
Shadab.

Its an encrypted version.
Get the 3.0.1 version (its unencrypted) and install it.

And the main problem is your PHP Safe Mode being "ON".
vBulletin in itself is not designed to run under safe mode turned on.

So, for full functionality and long-term problem-less running of your vB,
find a host with safe mode turned off.

Thanx,
Shadab.

Re: vBSEO Problem - 11-24-2007

is there any chance of you PM'ing me the settings that you use within the vBSEOCP??
That would make it alot easier for me as nothing is self explanatory at the moment.

Re: vBSEO Problem - 11-24-2007

It won't make much difference.

The major things that would make a huge difference would be :
- Installing the unencrypted version.
- And moving to a host with safe mode OFF.

Thanx,
Shadab.
