Automatically retrieve titles from external links

I have just installed vBSEO and am wondering how to Parse the links so that the titles of the pages linked-to will show up, similar to the system run here say when i type on my forums homepage you get this Freelance CMS - Computing Forums - Powered by vBulletin

I would like to know the exact steps to follow in order to make this work.

vBSEOCP -> SEO Functions ->

1) 'Add Thread Titles' : Use this option 'REPLACE Original Anchor Text'

2) 'Add Thread Titles to Showpost Links Anchor Text?' : Yes

3) 'Add Titles to External Links' : Yes

What you put in as anchor text in links is very important when it comes to SEO.
