It doesn't really integrate in the way you want. Just the 2 start sharing the same topics and the same users, thats all. Even I have these kind of bridges installed at my Website.

And Xavier is right but it looked cool anyway to me. I had them installed seperate but now topics can be shared which is great. Anyway make your own decision.
