It [the code] doesnt even work with the default silver vBulletin template :S

yes... if you want you can perform the 2 edits on the default style too.
(although i didn't perform, and still it worked like a charm).

Btw, you can view this page : Hide bbcode - Simple View
for better readability of the code i had given earlier.

Also note that this would hide the text inside the [ code ] ... [/ code ] tags ONLY.
This will not hide the code inside other tags like [ php ] , [ quote ] , [ html ] etc...

I've got not the slightest whats going on with this...you can see the example here...this is with all the steps you outlined taken...the code should be hidden or say "You must be logged in or registered etc etc"

the thing which i am looking for is that a bb code which performs the following actions

1) you have to reply in this thread to see the download link
2) you have to have atleast X posts to see this link

i hope i had cleared myself enough
please help with it as soon as possible
