Here in South Africa we are abit delayed with the whole technology thing lol, i just came off dial up a year ago. The speeds are kind of bad and prices sky high. Its because here telkom owns the pipeline connecting SA to the internet so every other ISP has to pay fees to telkom, making everything expensive. BTW how much you pay per month?

Yeah... that happens when a single corp. controls everything at root levels.

Btw, I pay approximately ~19$ USD for this connection, per month.

Which is about the cost of 1gb bandwidth connection here.

Yep... its quite cheap.

Sadly this tarrif plan is no longer available.
I think it was discontinued about an year or so earlier.

But, the then existing customers got to keep it.
So, I consider myself lucky to get it.
