Got only one major isp in my country. United communications intended to settle in Mauritius, but not heard of any development. It would have been FTTH

I live in Mumbai, India.
I use BSNL India Broadband, 2MBPS Speed, download speed goes upto 300kbps(on fast servers).
Good service, no downtime(even of 1 sec!) in last 18 months(since i started to use it).

btw don its not bsnl, its mtnl, part of bsnl, mtnl in mumbai is really good, i love there service, but the problem is my usage gets over within 15days of the month and now they have gone mad, they have started unlimited plans for 20000rs which we cannot even afford to pay monthly, gosshh too much expensive they are, i bet no one will purchase that unlimited plan, if they are smart clients like me :giggle:

Sorry for interrupting twi, I use BSNL dataone service, cause I live in area under BSNL (DOMBIVLI, near Thane) ,Check out Rents here.

And Unlimited Plan of BSNL costs 900INR/Month, i.e. 9000INR/Year(discount of 2 months rent).

But I use 250 plan though, which cost me about 1kINR/month cause of the low 1GB/mon limit, which get used in 5-10 days by me

Seeing the rates of BSNL/MTNL...
I think Airtel has got one of the best (in monetary terms) 'Unlimited' plans.

I've got an Unmetered ADSL line, with an effective speed of 150-400kbps,
for only 699 INR (ie, 17.5 USD) per month.

Not bad ? eh.. ?
