Static IP or Dynamic IP ? - 02-10-2008

What type of IP address or internet connection do you have ?
Is it static or dynamic ?

If its static, then your IP address wouldn't change on connecting / disconnecting from the internet. And if it's Dynamic, then your IP address would change each time you would connect / disconnect from the internet.

I have a Dynamic IP address. And I think i am at an advantage. Because even if somebody bans my IP address (which i think nobody would do), i just need to disconnect and reconnect to the internet; and voila! the IP address is changed.

Anonymous Proxies are a solution.
But then, yeah, they are slow as hell.

I'm not sure. I think I have one IP address, that goes through the router, and then each computer connected gets its own. I'm not sure if it changes if I actually unplug the router.
