wow ! Thats a real good template.
considering that its your first.

The 'header' of the template looks professional.

A bit of improvement can be done in the 'content' area of the template,
as I see a lot of whitespace being left between the content columns.

Another suggestion :

I think it would look better,
if the 'curve'-iness of edges would be reduced,
as marked in the image alongside.

Yes.

Looking at the red part too much starts hurting my eyes. *ouch!*
