Hard Disk Drive Crashed ? - 01-06-2008

Has your hard-disk drive ever crashed ?

If yes, then were you able to recover all the data in it ?
And how much did a replacement cost you ?

I feel good. Because nothing such has happened to me till now.
And I hope it doesn't; in the future too.

Not yet..
I don't want my hard disk to be crashed. I have disabled some feature that speed up hard drive because they also cause to crash data.

My Western digital 250GB HDD crashed Nov 07. Only 2 moths old. My PC shop replaced it for free.
I use Shadow Protect to back up all my data so I just put in the shadow protect boot CD which loads the repair program in your PC memory, then I take out the boot CD and load the 2 Backup data dvd's I made earlier and in 10 minutes my PC is exactly how it was. I used to use Acronis but shadow protect is more reliable on vista, and quicker.
