| | Posting Guidelines and Etiquettes | - Do not use ALL CAPS to write your whole post.
Writing in all caps is supposed to be like shouting, and shouting by any means is considered rather impolite.
- The same stands for other text formatting options like Bold, Italics, Underline, Size, etc.
You don't have to post your whole reply as bold text.
- Use these formatting options to spice up your post or present it in a good way.
But, use sparingly; and only for small bits and chunks of text. (and not your whole post, as said earlier)
- Use a SHORT but descriptive Title for your Topic.
Use of vague Topic Titles like "Help !", "See this", "Important" etc, etc. is not suggested.
- Don't use excessive colors. You are not suggested to use colors that would make the post unreadable.
- The main (official) language of the GeekPoint Forums is English. You should post all your messages / replies in English ONLY.
- Posting of Referral and Affiliate Links is not allowed in your threads or posts. Exception being the Buy, Sell and Trade Forum (you can post referral and affiliate links as a part of your contests threads) and your Signature.
- If you find any post that is offensive, posted in the wrong forum, etc. that breaks the Forum Rules;
then just use the 'Report Post' button, found on the top-right of each post, to report it over to us.
- If you think that any matter needs to be looked upon by the Forum Administration / Management,
post it in the "Help and Suggestions" Forum.
- Breaking , violating any of the rules of GeekPoint WILL result in a warning or an infraction or even a suspension.
