This is for those who are wondering what exactly happened to the Tips and Tutorials sub-forum.
FYI, it has been now discontinued.
It was proving to be redundant and confusing.
Take an example, if you want to post a Photoshop tutorial; You would earlier have 2 forums in which you would have posted. One was 'Graphics and Designing' and other was 'Tips and Tutorials'. And this is just one example. There are loads of examples and situations that you can come up of.
Also all the different types of tutorials were getting posted right in a single section. e.g.: Photoshop tutorials, web development tips, programming tutorials, etc. Hence it was feasible to get rid of the Tips and Tutorials section altogether.
If you want to post a tutorial look below to get a hint of where to post it.
- Software
Software application tips. Tutorials on how to use a particular software for something. Tweaking and modifying the settings and options for best performance. etc..
- Hardware
Modifying the hardware of a computer, tips on buying and selecting parts and accessories of PCs, over-clocking, etc...
- Graphics Designing
Photoshop tutorials, or tutorials related to any other "graphic designing" and "animation" software are suitable for this section.
- General Business Discussions
Tips, tricks and suggestions related to doing an online business, promotion & marketing; money making are to be posted in this forum.
- Search Engine Optimization
This one is pretty self-explanatory. Tips, tricks, guidelines, techniques and various aspects of Search Engine Optimization a.k.a SEO shall be discussed here.
- Webhosting and Management
Tips from existing webhosts, tutorials, management suggestions etc.. on how to run a webhost and making it successful.
- PC and Console Games
Gaming guides, walkthroughs, tips, completion checklist, strategies, etc.. related to PC or other console games are suitable for this section.
- Chit-Chat Forum
And for any other tips/tutorial category that hasn't been explained here,
theres always the Chit-Chat forum.
