Whats an easy .php editor? - 03-15-2008

Hey im using adobe dreamweaver right now and its wayyy to complicated for me. Is there an easier program out there so i can edit the .php files ? thanks

I don't think that there is easier available then dreamweaver

Notepad or Notepad++ can be simpler alternatives.

But as Armaan said earlier,
Dreamweaver is still the easiest editor.

You could use PHP focused editors, such as PHP Designer and stuff like that. At least if you don't care to spend a little amount of money on it.

I would just stick with Dreamweaver, it is extremely easy to use. You will get the hang of it if you stick to it.

Yes as said above Dreamweaver is a great choice if you dont know that much coding.

And as far as me doing my coding , well i only code using notepad

Notepad? vi all the way!

You can also use Eclipse, which I use if I want an IDE, but it is gonna have a much higher learning curve than dreamweaver.

I personally just use DreamWeaver with ISS set up locally for previewing.

What do mean by this, for preview locally, is there a way of connecting dreamweawer and my phpserver for it to run tests from dream?
