=)) no !! One of my friends make manage programs for companies and he earn 1000+ $ / project

It not easy to make programs for companies. You must be an expert in this.

As Armaan said, it's not that easy.

You also need to have some type of certification (degree / diploma),
to show that you can develop/manage programs.

PS: Webmastering is a better way of life.

Working in big projects worth thousands of $$ is not as easy as it sounds.
And, do you have any degree / certification showing that you have learnt VB or C ?
