Hi people,

Have you ever heard of a search engine called Searchme, Inc. . It has got some innovative features and is a product of ex-googlers. Here is a video related to the engine. I signed up as their beta tester and was approved. It was a nice experience.

I never used it.

Signed up for the beta right now.

Nice concept of displaying the [big] actual page screenshots.
Quite attractive and fun, although browsing through the results is somewhat slow.

Dialup in the world of Broadbands! . I know you are not saying that you have dialup. Rather, it is not suitable for dialup.

Indeed, But as the world is evolving, DialUp's are gonna be replace, sooner or later, by broadband. So, if their service is good, the results are fine, you might see them actually "coming ahead".

It was fun to play with - not sure if I would use it very often though.
