I have never had anyone remark that they visited my site based on Page rank. Also you would be amazed to find out how few searchers know anything about PR... The general public has never heard of PR.

Google Page rank is based on back links. Back links are Links pointing to your website from another website. The more back links you have the higher your PR will be.
