Frontpage or Dreamweaver ? - 10-20-2007

Which of them do you think is a better Web page authoring tool ?

IMHO,
Dreamweaver is a much better authoring tool !

I really like it's interface more than that of any other app.

But, Frontpage (esp the 2003 version)
is best suited to newbies and beginners, who have just started making webpages.

Thanx,
Shadab.

I'm just using kompozer until "Mozilla Composer" comes out. It's going to be a definite competitor to dreamweaver ftw.

I prefer Dreamweaver too, but i'm right with Shadab when he said that Frontpage is good for beginners.
Sometimes I teach for some beginner and I often use Frontpage, I teach with Dreamweaver for those can understand html and/or don't have any problem to understand how a website works.

Thanks,
Aqua

I prefer Dreamweaver too. Shadab not many people will share opinions like you about Frontpage. But I also agree with you regarding frontpage, because that is what got me started.

Yeah...

Usually people don't like FP because its from MS.
If it had been from Adobe or some other firm, then at least 40% of users would change their minds.

And same here, i made my first crappy sample site in FP, using Frames.
It is still up and running at : http://www.geocities.com/shadab_ansari2005/

Thanx,
Shadab.
