Yahoo Messenger 9 Beta

Not only is Y! Messenger for Mac painfully reaching 3 beta but it clear that the folks who worked on Yahoo Messenger for Vista changed their mind…. So do you intend to release two messengers for Windows and add another good layer of peanut butter when Mac users are asking for basic features?

Skype is basically for making "calls" : PC-to-PC or PC-to-Telephone.

But Yahoo messenger can double up as a voice chat client, so I only use Yahoo for chatting / conferencing with friends.
Btw, an update for Yahoo Messenger 9 Beta : Version 9.0.0.1389 -> 9.0.0.1912 (Download - Yahoo! Messenger 9.0)

For calls (pc-to-pc, or pc-to-phone), I think nothing beats Skype.

It's a bit resource hog than it's predecessor but with powerful rigs coming every month, i see no reason upgrading to YM9.

Yah, I agree skypee is the best for call it's either telephone or pc. Definitely I love the Yahoo Messenger 9 Beta for a lot of features especially the IMVironments which are interactive backgrounds that you can add to your IM conversations.
