Arrow Free website translation – thoughts please?? - 04-15-2008

Hi

I’ve come across a tool to add to sites I do that translates everything free (Translation Services Company - Language Translation Agency), only downside is a link back to the providing site – that I can see of anyway?? Anybody used it or know how good it is??

I would recommend not to use such translation tools, their quality is still very low (depending upon used grammar and style).

So I consider such tools not suited for translating websites; maybe just for getting an idea of a Japanese site's contents ;-)

There are also other solutions out there than the one you mentioned, e.g. babelfish.av.com or the translation tool at Google.

Don't use Translation Generators, like babelfish. They're not that good, often aren't even correct. Find someone willing to translate for you. I've met webmaster who convert their site into a multi language site, and have fluent speakers help them.

Good luck with it.
