Internet Explorer has been known by many of people to be inferior to FireFox, though others disagree with that statement. The two browsers can sometimes even give a different appearence. Check out my site in FireFox, and then check IE. You will see that my site doesn't look too bad in FF, but looks like garbage in IE.

I used to use only IE but after 7.0 i switched to FF.

You need to check out which tags attributes are supported by each browser. There are alot of differencing in CSS.
