Can somebody point me to a place were i can find out the differences between thees hosts ?
Shared hosting, Resellers, VPS, Dedicated.
especially VPS, other ones are speaking for them self

So far i have been using free hosts, one of them is a reseller for sure, for the other one i don't know.

Brief info about the types of hosting :

Shared : you have a small webhosting account on a server that is shared with a bunch of other users too. you have to share the resources and disk space with them. It's the cheapest of all the types of hosting.

Reseller : similar to shared hosting. except that you have the ability to 'create' extra shared accounts too.

Dedicated : it's owning a full web server. you have complete control of that server.

VPS : Virtual Private Server. A dedicated server can be partitioned, and each of these partitions can work as a separate (dedicated) machine; hence the name 'virtual'. Each of these partitions can have their own set of installed softwares; and can be rebooted independently.

I used to host my sites on my own server, but now use shared hosting. Eventually I would like to go back to having my own servers or at least switch to a dedicated server through my host.
