Internet professionals are surely aware of this fact, but most business owners aren't and so I think it is good to discuss this publicly.
Personally I often deal with business people we developed websites for and now are looking for a webhosting company: They have spend (much) money for their site and now trying to get the cheapest offer overall not being aware that the service behind most of them (not all) is just worse. Not few deciding later for such hosters are later switching to "expensive" ones because of lost e-mails or unavailable services.
although many people know it but its always a great thing to read such articles that refresh our mind and remind us that the web is not a safe place so keep your eyes open and make your decisions carefully .
